VirtualDub only supports AVI files, MPEG files and the like - and
Video For Windows codecs.
Quicktime is a completely different system, and is not supported.
TBH sending Apple your £18 registration to get the fully
functional Quicktime 5 (if you've got a PC fast enough to make
VirtualDub useful) which can export as AVI, MPEG or whatever,
is not that much money for the stuff you can do.
I was reencoding movie trailers to DivX the other day. Only
Quicktime 5 Pro makes it possible :)
Thanks
